DCIMCH\u2019s staffs and physicians work hard every day to provide all of our patients with the same quality of care they would want for their own families. We continuously monitor a wide range of indicators to measure our success in that area, and to help us learn where more work may still be needed.<\/p>\n
Our Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) provides a meaningful way for DCIMCH to clearly demonstrate our accountability to our patients and community. Our QIP is focused on creating a positive patient experience and delivering high quality health care services. With this plan, we are able to see our targeted areas very clearly for improvement and chart our progress.<\/p>\n
Our Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) is made up of two parts:<\/p>\n
A document that provides a brief overview of our quality improvement plan, highlighting and listing our hospital\u2019s top priorities for the year.<\/p>\n
A spreadsheet that includes our improvement targets and initiatives. The spreadsheet includes a core set of indicators that all standard hospitals are working on.<\/p>\n
