A Center of Excellence in Emergency Medicine of Bangladesh<\/h4>\n

The Emergency Department at DCIMCH is one of the best in Bangladesh in terms of its infrastructure, diversity in patient base and the availability of expert emergency physicians & nurses. The Emergency Department of DCIMCH is comprises of  a critical \/noncritical area and \u201cObservation Area\u201d which has three beds and also has a nursing station, a reception \/ customer service & accounts area and a waiting area. We have the facility to perform minor surgical\/orthopedic procedures, stitching, all types of dressings and emergency medical management with monitoring by cardiac monitor. The area also has a \u201cDoctors Room\u201d for OPD consultations & emergency counseling .<\/p>\n

All Emergency doctors and nurses have training opportunity on many emergency procedures and management. The emergency department provides service 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Ambulance service is also available for both critical and non-critical patient transfers. Our emergency physicians usually participated in various workshop and seminar to get update training on critical care services.<\/p>\n

Being part of this recent academic revolution, all emergency physicians and some indoor doctors have been motivated to pursue their future career in the field of emergency & critical care medicine.<\/p>\n
