The college academic council is composed of the principal and the senior faculty members ranging from professor to assistant professors of all the departments of the college along with two student representatives.

Academic council is the highest decision making authority of the college, regarding all academic activities, administrative matters, and student matters relating to the college.

The decisions of the academic council, within the legal framework of the country and not in conflict of the rules of the directorate of health services, Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council, and the University of Dhaka, will be binding to all the teachers, officers, employees and students of the college.

College Administration

The Principal is the executive head of the college. He is advised by the academic council in academic matters and administrative decision making. The college runs on self financing and none profit basis. Deficits on capital and development if any are made up by Dhaka Central International Medical College Trust. Principal along with the academic council looks after the human resource management, of the educational programs, and maintain academic atmosphere in the college.
