Colorectal Center

Colorectal and Pelvic Floor Center is a specialist center in Bangladesh for the treatment of colorectal diseases. We have capabilities of managing a wide range of illnesses including colorectal cancer, diverticular disease, inflammatory bowel disease, perianal diseases like haemorrhoids, anal fistula, and anal fissure. We also have clinical interest in functional bowel disorders like irritable bowel syndrome, constipation and faecal incontinence.

Our center provides a complete colorectal service as well as general surgical service. We specialised in the areas of prevention, endoscopic diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer, in particular, sphincter-preservative surgery for rectal cancer and minimally-invasive colorectal surgery.

We believe in a multi-disciplinary approach in the treatment of our patients to provide holistic care in times of their illness. In the management of colorectal cancer, we work very closely with other specialists like radiologist, histopathologist, medical oncologist, and radiation oncologist, to ensure the best possible cure rates for our patients. Similarly, in the evaluation and comprehensive management of pelvic floor disorders, we collaborate with other interested specialists such as urologist and gynaecologist in achieving excellent outcome with minimal impact on patient’s lifestyle.
